IVAC Hardwire (new "Pigtail" version )

Jeff explains how the Laube IVAC clipper is now hardwired with strict guidelines and parts supplied by Laube. The clipper is hardwired using an 12 inch pigtail from the switch to a screw-in plug assembly that can be zip-tied to the hose out of harms reach. With this new design, catching the cord and breaking the plug which can produce shorts in the power is practically impossible if secured properly. This new design enables the clipper to be disengaged from both the vacuum hose and power cord at the same time.
